The ban on air and sea arrivals from the United Kingdom to Spain has been lifted by the Spanish Government from March 30, 2021. Passengers currently arriving from the UK by travelling to Spanish airports and ports to enter Spain are required to present a negative PCR swab test. The test must be taken within no more than 72 hours prior to arrival. A minimum fine of \u20ac3000 may be issued to anyone who arrives in Spanish airports or ports without adequate evidence of a negative test. On arrival into Spanish ports and airports, passengers may be subject to the following requirements at the point of entry:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Present the QR code (hardcopy or digital) issued on completion of the online Health Control Form prior to travel,
\n\u2022 Undergo a temperature check,
\n\u2022 Undergo a visual health assessment,
\n\u2022 Show evidence certifying of having undertaken a 72-hr swab test and have tested negative for COVID-19.<\/p>\n
Additional requirements for UK nationals who are resident in Spain<\/strong><\/p>\n The Spanish government has formally confirmed to the UK government that UK nationals who were legally residing in Spain before 1 January 2021, and as such are beneficiaries of the Withdrawal Agreement, can use any of the following documents to prove their residence status when entering Spain:<\/p>\n \u2022 Residence card issued under Article 18.4 of the Withdrawal Agreement, In the absence of any of the above, other documents that credibly evidence legal residence in Spain before 1 January 2021, such as a registration certificate issued by the Town Hall, a work contract, a rental contract, or proof of property purchase may be presented.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The ban on air and sea arrivals from the United Kingdom to Spain has been lifted by the Spanish Government from March 30, 2021.
